Scotland manager Berti Vogts has suffered a blow with the news that Paul Dickov is ruled out of Saturday's Euro 2004 qualifier against Lithuania.
The Leicester City striker picked up an injury against Fulham at the weekend, and the Scottish FA have confirmed that he will not be available for the game at Hampden Park.
Vogts is also sweating over the fitness of Neil McCann and Paul Devlin ahead of a game the Scots must win to have a chance of clinching a play-off spot.
McCann twisted his ankle during Southampton's defeat against Newcastle and Saints boss Gordon Strachan admitted after the game the winger was a "huge doubt" for the Scotland game.
He is receiving treatment at St Mary's before making the trip to Scotland on Tuesday, when a decision will be made on his fitness.
The rest of the squad meet today for a training session at Dumbarton, when Vogts will find out if Devlin will be fit enough to play on Saturday.
He has been struggling with a hamstring injury and failed to make Watford's squad at the weekend.
Vogts is already without Rangers striker Steven Thompson and skipper Paul Lambert for the clash.
