Police in Derry are have evacuated people from their homes after a suspicious device was found in the Delvin Gardens area of the Waterside.
A police spokeswoman said the residents have been evacuated to a nearby school.
The Trench Road has been closed between the junctions at Rose Court and Hollymount Park.
