Brian Kerr must plan for tomorrow's friendly international with Norway at Lansdowne Road without defenders Kenny Cunningham and John O'Shea.

Both are injured and have been unable to train since joining up with the squad this week.

Captain Cunningham has been troubled by a groin problem, and Kerr yesterday called up Richard Dunne as defensive cover.

Manchester United star O'Shea picked up a knee injury in the club's 2-0 win over Tottenham on Sunday.

Midfielder Matt Holland is expected to lead the side in Cunningham's absence.
