The RUC has begun a murder investigation into the death of a baby boy whose body was found in a shallow grave outside Newtownards, Co Down, on Friday. The body of the one-week-old boy was discovered by a man walking his dog in a woodland area near Strangford Lough. An RUC spokesman said: "We are treating it as murder following the results of a post-mortem investigation." Police have appealed for the boy's mother to come forward.
