TWO judges have been assigned to hear the 15 murder and rape trials fixed by the Central Criminal Court for April and May from a waiting list of 70 cases.
Five of the trials are fixed on a provisional basis, assuming that the preceding trial ends in time to allow them go ahead.
The majority of the 55 remaining cases which camel before Mr Justice Kinlen for fixing of dates have been adjourned to the next listing hearing on May 16th.
Nine of the trials fixed are cases of alleged murder or attempted murder and the rest relate to charges of rape or sexual abuse.
