Dart trains back in action after technical fault

Dart services are back to normal after a technical fault on the south side of the line this morning.

Dart services are back to normal after a technical fault on the south side of the line this morning.

Trains could not run between Dalkey and Bray as overhead power lines were down at Dalkey, Íarnrod Éireann said.

The company said a technical team had been on site to sort out the problem and that services between the two stations resumed at around 11am.

A spokesman said it was not possible at peak times to provide bus services for passengers affected by the technical problem.

However, Dublin Bus recognises passengers' rail tickets in such circumstances and puts extra buses on the routes where possible.
