Dangerous driver jailed

A man who drove while disqualified was jailed for three years by Judge Patrick Smith in Trim Circuit Court yesterday. Nigel Behan (20), of River Forest, Leixlip, Co Kildare, was convicted of dangerous driving and injuring two motorcyclists in an accident. At the time of the crash, Behan was disqualified from driving and had been on temporary release from Mountjoy after being jailed for non-payment of fines imposed for driving without insurance, the court heard.
