Cyclist dies in Co Antrim lorry collision

A cyclist was killed when he collided with a lorry in Co Antrim last night.

A cyclist was killed when he collided with a lorry in Co Antrim last night.

It is understood he was riding a bicycle on the Randalstown Road when the accident happened at around 5.15pm.

Police closed the road for several hours and have appealed for any witnesses to the accident to come forward.

Elsewhere, gardaí have named the man who died in a two-car crash at Skeagh Cross, Co Westmeath, yesterday afternoon. He was Brian Duggan (19) of Forthill, Co Westmeath.

The driver of the other car was not injured.
