Two teenaged boys have been arrested for questioning after an aggravated burglary in which the occupants of a house were threatened with a bread knife.

Intruders entered the house at Rossfield in Tallaght at about 12.45am yesterday and threatened the occupants.

Following a confrontation, they fled the scene on foot empty handed, a Garda spokesman said.
