Two held over seizure of €180,000 of cannabis in Dublin

Gardaí have arrested two men in their 50s after seizing herbal cannabis worth an estimated €180,000 in Dublin.

About 9kg of the drug was seized during an operation by Customs at a house on Blakestown Road in Blanchardstown as part of a joint investigation targeting drug importation.

The arrested men are being detained at Finglas Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
