Three people have been arrested by gardaí investigating organised crime in Co Offaly.
Two women - one in her late teens, the other aged 20 - and a 23-year-old man were arrested following planned searches on a number of houses in Clara and Tullamore yesterday morning.
They were being held last night under the provisions of Section 50 Criminal Justice Act 2007 as amended at Portlaoise, Tullamore and Birr Garda stations.
