Three held after ecstasy factory raided in Limerick

Gardaí find equipment and drugs worth €150,000 at house

Two men have been arrested at an ecstasy manufacturing plant in Co Limerick.

Gardaí searched a house at Annagh, Murroe in Bruff, at about 7pm last night and discovered equipment and ecstasy tablets worth an estimated €150,000.

Two men in their early 20s were arrested at scene and are being held at Henry Street Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

In a follow-up search at an apartment in Limerick city last night, cannabis herb worth an estimated €50,000 was found and a man in his mid 20s was arrested.

He is also being held at Henry Street Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
