A 19-year-old man has been charged with arson at a Waterford GAA club.

The man appeared before a special sitting of Waterford District Court on Friday night.

He was charged with one count of arson and one of burglary at St Saviour’s GAA Club in Ballybeg last Saturday.

He was remanded in custody to appear before the same court on Tuesday.
