PSNI investigate as shots fired at house in west Belfast

Man, woman and child were upstairs at time of attack and escaped injury

Police are investigating a shooting incident at a house in west Belfast in the early hours of Saturday.

It was reported that a number of shots were fired through the front window and door of the house in Tollnamona Court at about 2.40am.

A man, woman and child who were upstairs in the house at the time of the shooting were not injured.

"We are currently working to establish a motive for this incident and I would appeal to anyone with any information to contact detectives at Musgrave, " Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said.
