A murder investigation has begun in the North after a man died from stab wounds.
The 47-year-old male victim was attacked a month ago in north Belfast and was being treated in hospital for his injuries, but died on Sunday morning.
Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) detective chief inspector John Caldwell has appealed for further information about the attack.
“Police were called to a house in Harcourt Drive at around 6.15am on Friday 7th January following a report of a stabbing,” he said.

“The victim was taken to hospital for treatment but sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away this morning, Sunday 6th February.”
A number of arrests have been made already in relation to the incident, which is now being treated as a murder inquiry by the PSNI’s major investigation team
Det chief inspector Caldwell said enquiries are ongoing.
“I am appealing for anyone who has any information that could assist our investigation please get in touch,” he said.
“If you were in the area of Harcourt Drive late on Thursday 6th January or early on Friday 7th January and saw or heard anything out of the ordinary please call 101 quoting reference number 188 07/01/22.”
