A police file on a teenager arrested on suspicion of the manslaughter of a fellow school pupil in a playground incident is to be sent to prosecutors for assessment.

The 17-year-old was detained on Monday and interviewed for the third time by officers investigating the death of Oisin McGrath earlier this month.

Oisin, 13, a keen sportsman, was injured at St Michael's College in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. He died in hospital three days later.

PSNI Detective Chief Inspector Gareth Talbot said: "The youth was interviewed earlier today and at the conclusion of that interview process he was released pending a report to the PPS (Public Prosecution Service)."
