Police in Northern Ireland are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was injured in a collision outside Dungannon, Co Tyrone on Saturday afternoon.

The male driver of the green Honda motorcycle was involved in a serious road traffic collision at about 12.45pm on Saturday on the Pomeroy Road, Donaghmore in Dungannon.

The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Sergeant Brady from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has appealed for any motorists who were on the Pomeroy Road between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on Saturday and who may have witnessed the incident to contact police at Dungannon on the non-emergency number 101 and to quote the reference 590 04/02/17.
