Men arrested on DART carrying handgun and drugs

Gardaí have arrested two men who were carrying a handgun, a small quantity of drugs and other drugs paraphernalia on the DART yesterday.

Gardaí boarded the train at the Blackrock station in Co Dublin after receiving reports that the two men were acting suspiciously.

The men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, were found to be carrying a handgun, a small amount of drugs and other drugs materials.

The men have been detained at Blackrock Garda station under Section 30 of The Offences Against the State Act, 1930.
