Gardaí are appealing for information following a shooting incident in a housing estate in Tallaght, Dublin.
At approximately 6.30pm a lone man approached and fired a number of shots at a car outside a house at the Grove, Kingswood Heights.
One of the occupants of the car, a man in his late 20s, sustained a gunshot wound during the incident.
The gunman fled the scene on foot.

The injured man was driven from the scene to Tallaght Hospital where he is currently receiving treatment. His injures are not thought to be life threatening.
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.
