Man remanded over Finglas murder

A 22-year-old man has been remanded in custody after he appeared in court in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Dublin last Sunday.

David Cully, of Kilshane Road, Finglas appeared in court today accused of murdering 41-year-old Edward O'Connor, who was shot dead on the Ballycoolin Road in Finglas.

Mr O’Connor (41), from Finglas, was killed following a suspected dispute with a man known to him.

Mr Cully was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Friday.
