Man released after Firhouse death questioning

Gardaí said a file was being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

A man questioned in connection with the death of 58-year-old woman in South Dublin has been released.

Gardaí in Rathfarnham said a file was being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Maria Carroll’s body was found at a house on Woodlawn Park Grove, Firhouse at 1.30pm on Sunday.

A 58-year-old male was arrested in relation to Ms Carroll’s death on Tuesday and released from custody last night.
