Gardaí have arrested one man after a man in his 20s was shot in Cork city.

A man in his 20s has suffered injuries to his elbow following a drive by shooting in Cork.

Three men were taken into Garda custody following the incident which happened at around 9pm last night.

The victim’s injuries are not thought to be serious.

A passenger on a motorbike fired the shot at Courtown Avenue, Hollyhill close to shops and a fast food takeaway.

The shooting is thought to be linked to feuding in the area. Witnesses are asked to contact Gurranabraher Garda station.
