A 44-year-old man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with a post office robbery in Enfield on April 18th.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with a post office robbery in Enfield on April 18th.

Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with the robbery of a post office in Meath last week.

They conducted searches in the Coolock area of Dublin at about 8.30am this morning as part of an investigation into the raid in Enfield on April 18th.

A 44-year-old man was arrested at scene, a Garda spokeswoman said.

He is currently detained at Trim Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.

It is the second arrest in relation to the robbery.

Gardaí said investigations were ongoing.
