Cocaine worth €385,000 found in a house in Tallaght last night

A 34-year-old man was arrested last night after cocaine worth €385,000 was seized during a search of a house in Cushlawn Park, Tallaght.

A 34-year-old man was arrested last night after cocaine worth €385,000 was seized during a search of a house in Cushlawn Park, Tallaght.

A large amount of cash and assorted drug paraphernalia were also seized.

The man is currently being held at Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

The search of the house was part of Operation Wireless III which was launched yesterday.

It is targeting serious criminal activity nationwide and is being coordinated by Garda National Support Services at Harcourt Square.
