A man has been arrested after gardaí seized cannabis worth an estimated €37,000 in Co wicklow.
Gardaí targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Wicklow area arrested the man in his 50s after they carried out a planned search of a property at Ballard, Rathdrum, this morning.
Cannabis plants with a combined estimated street value of up to €37,000 (pending analysis) was seized during the search, a Garda spokesman said.
The man is being held at Bray Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
