Gardaí have seized cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €130,000 at a house in Blessington, Co Wicklow.
A Garda spokesman said a search operation was carried out at a house in Rath Na Bo yesterday afternoon.
What he described as a “ large quantity” of cannabis plants as well as other documentary evidence, was seized by gardaí.
A man in his mid 40s was arrested and detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Bray Garda station.
He has been charged in relation to the seizure and will appear at a special sitting of Naas District Court this morning.
