Man dies following Co Kildare crash

A man has died as a result of injuries sustained in a collision in Co Kildare earlier this week.

The man (30) was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a van at Ellistown, Rathangan at about 9.30pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to Naas General Hospital before being transferred to Tallaght Hospital, where he was pronounced dead this afternoon.
