A 24-year-old man has been charged with the attempted murder of a toddler.
The two-year-old girl was seriously injured in an alleged assault in the village of Bessbrook, Co Armagh on Sunday. She remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The incident unfolded in the Charlemont Square East area of Bessbrook on Sunday evening.
The man will appear at Banbridge Magistrates Court, sitting in Newry, this morning.
