Man (48) taken to hospital after aggravated burglary

A man (48) has been taken to hospital following an aggravated burglary in Cullybackey in Co Antrim.

The incident occurred at about 10pm on Friday night, when five men wearing masks entered a house on Craigs Road.

One of the men apparently struck the victim on the head with a firearm while demanding money.

The men then raided the house before fleeing the scene. Nothing was stolen during the incident.
