The Garda Siochana Ombudsman Commission is investigating the death of a man in custody in Dublin airport on Saturday.

It is understood the deceased, a Brazilian national in his 20s, was detained after arriving on a flight and was taken to a holding room, pending questioning,

The man was found dead in the holding room a short time later.

The incident was referred to GSOC by gardaí this afternoon.
