Gardaí seeking man who threatened pub-goers with gun

No arrests yet following incident in Clondalkin last Sunday

Gardaí are investigating a case in which a man ran through a busy pub in a south Dublin suburb brandishing a gun last weekend.

It comes following reports that a man arrived at a pub on the Neilstown Road in Clondalkin in the early hours of Sunday, September 18th and threatened patrons with a shotgun.

“Gardaí in Ronanastown are investigating an incident in which a man allegedly produced a firearm at a premises on the Neilstown Road, Clondalkin on Sunday the 18th September 2016 at approximately 12.20am,” read a statement.

It is believed that the alleged perpetrator may have been involved in an earlier altercation at the premises before returning with the firearm, and no shots were fired.
