Gardaí investigate after man’s body found at Tallaght house

A body of a man in his 40s has been discovered at a house in Tallaght.

Gardaí are not initially treating the situation as suspicious but a postmortem examination has been scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

The deceased was found at an address in Ellensborough Lodge, Tallaght at about 4.30am on Thursday.

The scene has been preserved for forensic examination and the State pathologist has been notified.

Gardaí said the course of the investigation will only be determined once the postmortem, due to be conducted at Tallaght hospital, is concluded.
