A detective garda was brought to St James’s Hospital in Dublin last night after being assaulted while investigating an incident at Ravensdale Park in Crumlin at about 8pm.
The garda is stationed at Sundrive Road. His injuries are described as non-life threatening. The scene has been preserved.
