Gang ties up elderly couple during robbery at Bray home

An elderly couple have been treated for shock after they were tied up and robbed in their home in Bray, Co Wicklow on Monday night.

Three men broke into the couple’s home at Briarwood, Vevay Road in Bray at about 8.30pm.

The men tied up the couple, who are in their 80s, and ransacked the house before leaving with a small quantity of jewellery.

The couple were unharmed but have been treated for shock following the incident.

Gardaí say no arrests have been made but are calling on anyone with information to contact Bray Garda station on (01) 666 5300.
