Five motorists fined for taking crash pictures as they drove by

Gardai have fined five motorists who were caught taking images of a crash as they drove by.

The actions of the motorists, who were both filming and taking photos, were described as “dangerous” and “inappropriate” by Gardaí.

Gardaí took to social media to warn against such acts and to remind motorists to drive carefully.

They stated: "Waterford Traffic Unit fine 5 Motorists filming/taking photos of a RTC (Road Traffic Collision) whilst driving. Dangerous & Inappropriate. Take care on the roads."
