Det Garda Pat Condon gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution and told the court Mr Moore made no reply to any of the four charges when they were put to him after caution.

Gardaí did not object to bail once certain conditions were met, including that he surrender his passport, reside at his address at Oldcourt and notify gardaí of any change of address.

Gardaí also sought a condition that Mr Moore abide by a curfew and stay at home between 11pm and 7am, and that he sign on three times a week at Ballincollig Garda station.

Judge Olann Kelleher granted Mr Moore bail with these conditions attached and remanded him to appear again at Cork District Court on October 9th.
