The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Cowen, has announced grants worth more than £700,000 from the Department of Foreign Affairs' Reconciliation Fund to be distributed between 35 cross-community, educational and research organisations. Among the beneficiaries are Cork based Between, which focuses on reconciliation and human rights, the Lower Ormeau Residents Action Group in Belfast, which develops cross-community links, the interdenominational Omagh Boys' and Girls' Club in Co Tyrone, and the victims support group in Belfast, Relatives for Justice.
