An English couple, arrested under suspicion of attempting to smuggle three Latvians into the State on Sunday, have been released from custody pending further investigations. The couple arrived in Dun Laoghaire on the HSS ferry from Holyhead in two cars on Sunday morning with the Latvians. They were arrested by the Garda National Immigration Bureau on suspicion of smuggling foreign nationals into the State.
