A man and woman were killed when their car collided with a lorry near Comber, Co Down last night.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after cutting machinery was used to remove the roof of their car.
The police have not yet released the names of the victims, who are believed to have been elderly.
It is thought that the driver of the lorry suffered minor injuries and shock.
