Counterfeit DVDs and copying equipment worth over €200,000 were seized by gardai in an operation in Co Louth, it has been revealed.

Gardai in Dromad, Co Louth seized titles still on cinema release such as Oceans 12; Spanglish; Are We There Yet?; The Aviator; Rayand Meet the Fokers.

The goods were recovered from a van at Upper Faughart, Dundalk, at 8 a.m. yesterday.

A man questioned about the seizure but was not detained.
