Gardai and customs seized a car, €40,000 worth of cigarettes and DVDs with a street value of €150,000 this morning at Drogheda market.

No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

INFACT, the organization representing the intellectual property rights of the film industry in Ireland, assisted Gardai in the operation.

The raid was part of ongoing investigations into the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods and illegally imported cigarettes.
