An editorial on February 24th incorrectly stated that the Department of Justice, rather than the Department of the Environment, had "responsibility for legislation that would allow random drunk-driver testing".

It was incorrectly stated in Thursday's newspaper that the St Patrick's Festival had been cancelled because of the foot-and-mouth crisis. The festival has been postponed.
