A Cork man was still being held last night in connection with a £250,000 drugs seizure in Co Limerick

A Cork man was still being held last night in connection with a £250,000 drugs seizure in Co Limerick. Members of the Limerick Garda Drugs Squad stopped a van on the way to Cork at 4.25 p.m. on Wednesday in Croom and found 25 kilos of cannabis resin. The man is being held under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act 1996 and can be held for seven days.
