Cork 4-13 Monaghan 0-11:Cork secured their fourth women's All-Ireland football title in a row at Croke Park this afternoon, retaining the Brendan Martin Cup with a 4-13 o 0-11 victory over Monaghan.

After a seven-year absence the final hurdle proved too much for Monaghan who faded badly in the second half as the Leesiders clinically kept the scoreboard ticking over.

Cork led by just three at halftime thanks to a goal from the spot Valerie Mulcahy. The Rockban player scored 3-02 in total, but there was than a hint of square-ball to her second whihc, five minutes after the break, broke the Monaghan resistance.

Her third also came from a penalty late in the game as the Monaghan defence put in some tired challenges.

In the Intermediate final, Edel Hanley was the hero for Tipperary as she scored 10 points to help see off the challenge of Clare by a score of 0-14 to 1-08.
