The Continuity IRA has admitted responsibility for the failed rocket attack on a joint RUC/British army base in Roslea, Co Fermanagh, on Wednesday.

The heavily fortified base was not damaged in the attack. The RUC confirmed that the car used to transport the mortar, an old grey Volvo hatchback, was bought in Co Louth on April 6th.
