Ticketmaster has announced refunds for people who bought Garth Brooks tickets will be available from Tuesday, July 15th.
The company said the service charges, of up to €6.10 for tickets, would also be given back to customers.
Ticketmaster said for people who bought tickets over the phone, online or through a mobile app, their money would be automatically returned.
It said a ticket holders will not need to take any action and it will take up to 10 working days for the money to reach their accounts.
Those who bought their tickets in person may return to the same centre where they made the original purchase, fill out a refund form and hand it in with along with the Brooks tickets.
Ticketmaster said people should keep a note of the show date, seat details and take the left hand portion of the refund form for their own records.
A refund form will also be available online at www.ticketmaster.ie/gbrefunds to print.
Ticket holds can apply for their money back through post using this form, also include their tickets and send to to PO Box 4695, Dublin 2.
A refund will be processed by bank transfer within 21 days of receiving the application.
Managing director of Ticketmaster Ireland Keith English said the company understood the disappointment of Brooks fans.
“Having reviewed the huge task at hand, we believe the process we have outlined is the simplest and most efficient for fans. The scale of this operation is unprecedented and therefore we would ask customers to continue to be patient,” he said.
The company confirmed there was no cut off date for refunds.
For people who bought their tickets from outlets at the News and Deli in Dundalk, Fassaugh Stores at Cabra in Dublin, Whites in Wexford and the Irish Shop Ennis at Cusack Park in Ennis, the company said the centres are no longer affiliated with Ticketmaster and ticket holders can go to any centre to get a refund or use the postal option.
