A cut above:Although it makes little difference to Pricewatch, we were still concerned that Dublin men are expected to pay almost 50 per cent more than men elsewhere in the State for a simple wash, cut and blow-dry, according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office last week

The average cost of a man's wash, cut and blow-dry in Dublin is €26.93 - 44.7 per cent more than the €18.60 it costs outside the capital. Women in Dublin, meanwhile, pay an average of €36.60, 20.7 per cent more than elsewhere.
