They've been wrecked in every other city they've launched in from Nantes to London. Stop trying to make us feel guilty should the locals wreck the bikes. If a bit of bike damage is good enough for the French or the cool set in London, it is good enough for the residents of Tara Street. – Marg G
ORGANIC FOOD
We have a long way to go on the organic food front. Cuba already has 60 per cent of its fresh fruit and veg produced organically, much of it in patio gardens in urban areas (zero food miles).
Whatever about the taste, their experience is that it is better for the farmers, better for the soil and reduces dependency on imported oil. Did I mention that yield improved as well? Move over to organic for the taste, stay for the planet. But don't be conned into paying extra for it. – Simon
