Compromise on Golan discussed

Jerusalem - The Israeli Defence Minister, Mr Yitzhak Mordechai, said yesterday he was willing to make compromises on the occupied Golan Heights if it would help bring peace with Syria. "I am willing to reach compromises that will not endanger our security and which can achieve peace," Mr Mordechai said. "Even if it requires territorial compromises to advance peace.
