Commitment impresses CIF

The Construction Industry Federation welcomed the plan's strong commitment to infrastructural development. CIF director general Mr Liam Kelleher said the plan was about developing the economy's capacity over the next seven years in a socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable way. "The proposed investment in roads, public transport, water and sewage treatment to facilitate new development and social housing is ambitious and necessary, given the infrastructural deficit that now exists."
